Roller Effects AddIn for DHTML Menu Builder 4.10.000 (or above)
Version 2.0 (updated 23/Jun/2005)

 Experience Required: Beginner

The roller effect AddIn will enable your menus to roll in and out as they appear and disappear.

As seen in the above sample the AddIn will automatically determine the direction in which the effect is applied based on the menus alignment.

To use this AddIn simply open your project in DHTML Menu Builder, click File->Project Properties->Advanced and select the RollerEffect2 AddIn from the list of AddIns.
Preview your project using the Tools->Preview command to see how the AddIn applies the effects to your project.
The AddIn supports several parameters to adjust the unfolding animation.Click File->Project Properties->Advanced and then clicking on the "AddIn Parameters" button () to adjust the parameters.
  • This AddIn has been designed for DHTML Menu Builder 4.10 (and above)
Using it with an older version will cause problems.
  • This AddIn will only work under DOM-compliant browsers. This means that there's no support for Navigator 4.
As of the release of this document, these are the only browsers guaranteed to work:
    • Internet Explorer 5 (or above)
    • Opera 7
    • Any Mozilla-based browser including Mozilla 1.x, Navigator 7 and 8 and FireFox
    • Safari 1.0
  • The use of this or any other AddIn is not support by xFX JumpStart.
If this or any other AddIn is causing problems you may report it on the public forum but xFX JumpStart takes no responsibility and makes no guarantees about the menus stability.
