Programmatically select menu items to reflect the section on the web site where a user is at

 Experience Required: Beginner

Since version 4.6 this functionality has been integrated right into the application itself thought the "Item Highlighting Wizard".

In order to access the wizard click Tools->Item Highlight Wizard
As shown in this image, the wizard will be displayed.

On the left pane you will see your web site's documents while on the right hand side you will see your menus.

The way the wizard works is very simple:

  1. First, select the document where you want to install the highlighting code
  2. Next, select the menu item that you want to highlight when the selected document is displayed
  3. Finally, click the Install button

As you can see in the image below, the menu items Download->MixerPRO will be highlighted when the /activex/mxp/download.htm document is displayed.

Now, it's a matter of repeating the process until you have installed the highlighting code into all the documents that require it.

But wait... there're more features available in the wizard!
