Music identification (fingerprinting) is a process that uses one or more algorithms to identify music or audio clips using a computer program.
Between the years 2009 and 2012 I worked on a project to create a fast and reliable music identification program (fingerprinting) for a potential client? from scratch!
When I started working on this project there wasn?t a lot of information and the way this is done was kept as a very well guarded secret with most of its implementations under patents by very large corporations. This made it very hard and it took me several months (almost a full year) to come up with a working proof of concept which I kept perfecting until the project was discarded.Continue reading
This new release resolves a large number of issues with the way the menus work and behave when accessed through touch-based devices, such as phones and tablets.
The menus will automatically detect when a touch based device is being used and automatically modify their behavior to accommodate the differences between a pointer (such as a mouse) and a touch screen.
This is a critical update as it resolves several problems that could affect users with Internet Explorer 11 under Windows 8.0 and 8.1.Here's the complete changelog:
Thanks to a very loyal DHTML Menu Builder user, F.V., I have been able to resolve a very obscure issue with DHTML Menu Builder's validation and registration process.
This bug caused the registration information to become corrupt which, consequently, corrupted several system files required by DHTML Menu Builder itself.
So, if you ever had any issues validating/registering your copy of DHTML Menu Builder, please, upgrade to the latest release and let me know the results.
If this is the first time you visit xFX JumpStart, then welcome; otherwise, you may have noticed a rather significant re-styling.
The structure of the web site remains mostly the same, but the overall style has been simplified and flattened, to provide a more modern UI as well as a better experience on large monitors.
To fit the new minimalistic re-styling, I have also updated the menus using a simpler design, with fewer sub-menus and making great use of the ShowMultipleToolbars AddIn, which gives DHTML Menu Builder the ability to create multi-column menus.
There are still several tweaks that need to be made so, hopefully, the whole re-styling will be completely finished and implemented by the end of the month.Hope you all like it... and enjoy it!
